Where is home anyway? Well, I miss my friends in Texas (and everywhere else!) that is for sure! Wish you guys were all over here. Then it really would be home! Anyway, the flat is cozy, but a bit to empty of good company!
Not all who wander are lost, are they? So, the story of my life began. At the moment, I am happily wandering in India, where I am studying Sanskrit, philosophy and teaching yoga. By birth and quirky personality, I am Texan. By nature and by choice, I am a wanderer and an eternal forager for truth and adventure. I split my time between Austin, TX where I teach yoga and spend the hot summer days swimming in the natural springs with my dogs and cooking spicy veggie food with my friends and Varanasi, India where I spend the warm days and cool nights studying and exploring, seeking glimmers of beauty and simplicity. Each day of my life, whether here or there or some other unforeseen place, offers a treasure trove of sights and smells, of love and loss, and of expectation and discovery. For me, the beauty and energy of life is found in the juxtaposition between the expected and the unexpected and the wanted and the unwanted. What is life really without the little and big surprises that catch our breath and make us think? And, it is this that I seek- the surprises of life. Stay tuned so I can share with you my little and big adventures, the mundane and bizarre, and secrets and surprises!

I can understand why you don't want to come home.
